pugs still blow
after failing "ring of fire" miserably with a pug me and dirk henched it. We beat "abaddon's mouth" with laike's help, and i figured...how bad can a hell's precipice pug be?
right before i left we had 5 dead players, 3 of whom were warriors who all went different directions. We had about 7 different pieces of titan attacking us, and i was out of energy 5 times over.
then i got whispered "youre a noob monk, how did you let 3 fucking warriors die nooooob"
Best part is, I pinged my bar before the mission, and Im a prot monk. But i got all the blame over the monk with "Healing" in his name.
Pickup groups was just about the worst idea Ive ever had.

Yup, that's why I'm getting on now that I've gone to the grocery store.

Since when was this unofficial? I definately enjoyed my time as a guildless "bachelor", but having to pug the tougher missions was annoying. Though to be honest, henching said tough missions is actually much easier than getting together a bunch of people in the outpost. Case and point, I henched Thunderhead Keep and Ring of Fire before Factions even came out (no heroes or hench flagging).
Anyway, that's what the guild is here for. With the advent of Heroes, two people can take on the toughest situations in the game, because you've got two people each controlling three customized AI (who can all be micro-managed, which is something of an acquired skill, but still there).
